    Hi.
I am developing a website for a parish council and am planning to use the Featured Image Pro plugin to list the Councillors (whose details are included in individual posts with the category Councillor). I want to show images in the excerpt, to show which committees the Councillors sit on and have added an excerpt accordingly to the post, however html used to display images is stripped out. I have added the Advanced Excerpt plugin to try to stop this, but there must be something in the Featured Image Pro plugin that is stopping this working, as it is working with the Genesis Featured Widget Amplified plugin (see sidebar on linked page).
Is there any way of fixing this please?
    Many thanks.

    Hi Fionder,

I had a similar request for the thumbnail grid a few months ago.

I will take a look at this within the next couple of days.

    Best,

Just FYI, it is not standard WordPress to have images in excerpts but this is a fairly easy setting that I can add.

Just wanted to let you know that I haven’t forgotten this! The update will be released by Monday with an additional setting. It will be available in advanced settings in the shortcode.
