    Hi MaxButtons Team,

This looks like a very interesting and powerful plugin!

Is it possible to insert HTML rather than a URL in the shortcode (i.e. URL=”the html text…… “)?

If so, we could use MaxButtons to launch a feature on the web page rather than linking to another page.

    Look forward to your response.

    Best regards,

    Marty

    Hi,

No, you can’t put HTML inside a link. This is due to HTML works in general.

If you can explain what you are trying to accomplish I can maybe suggest something else. If you want to show content / popup you can leverage Maxbuttons in combination with other plugins. Most that support custom links / triggers will work.

Hi There, I am trying to use this button plugin in an email however when I copy the shortcode into the email all I see is the shortcode and not the button. I’m sure it can be done but I’ve tried everything and now at a loss.
