Use image carousel to show PDFs?

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with displaying pdfs in a WP.

What I would like to do is to use the image carousel to show the thumbnails of each PDF. When you click on the thumbnail, it will display the full PDF. Is it possible to display the PDF like a large image instead of opening a new URL?

The best solution i have is to use WP Gallery Custom Links. Click on the thumbnail in the carousel and direct to the PDF.

If not, is there any options or plugins I can use or you can suggest?
