    Yes, it is possible to add a feed display to a sidebar, page content area, or a footer.

    To add a feed to the sidebar you would go to your WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > add a Text widget to the sidebar and then add the shortcode for your feed display to the Text widget.
