  • My question is somewhat similar to yours but a little different as well. My situation is this: I want to use ZBlackBeard. I read that this is a child theme of Zerif Lite. Because I want to avoid editing ZBlackBeard files themselves, I am wondering if one must install Zerif Lite or Pro in order to use ZBlackBeard as the child theme. If we don’t have to install Zerif Lite or Pro, how can we customize ZBlackBeard without risking damage of ZBlackHeard.

Kindly help clear my confusion. Thank you for your help.

    Hi @ngehlich,

You can use ZBlackberad with Zerif Pro, but you need modify the child theme name https://docs.themeisle.com/article/14-how-to-create-a-child-theme

    Hi @tmbond,

ZBlackberad is a child theme, so you must install Zerif Lite. You can’t create another child theme for a child theme.

    Best regards,

    Madalin
