Use logic to display widget on certain categories and taxonomies

Hello,

I am trying to use the logic option to display a specific widget on certain categories and taxonomies. I have tried the following code with no success.

When this logic is set, the affected widgets do not display in the theme.

is_category( 'featured', 'living-well', 'lodging', 'services' )
is_tax( 'featured', 'living-well', 'lodging', 'services' )

These categories come from the GeoDirectory plugin. This plugin has it’s own widget visibility options, but I have disabled them while testing.

Any suggestions?
