    Hey,

    does this Plugin use Cookies?

    Complianz does not show any.

Could you add information about this in the Plugin-description?

    Thank you
    Tobias

    Hi @tobiasber,

At the moment Burst does use cookies. We use the cookie ‘burst_uid’. We are working on an option to enable cookieless tracking.

I will discuss this with the Complianz team after the Eastern weekend.

    Kind regards,
    Hessel

Regarding your question about the description: The cookie is an anonymous statistics cookie. If you visit your own site, then run the Complianz cookie scan again, then sync with cookie database.org, it will show up in your policy complete with service and description.

    Hello Hessel and Rogier,

thank you for your help. I needed to log out from the WordPress-Admin Account for the cookie to be set.

Cookieless tracking would be awesome, especially for users in Germany.

Keep up the good work and be blessed!
