Use of numeric value on query strings of custom links inside menu items

I believe this is a bug but, if not, goes as a request…

If I add a “Custom link” to a menu with the following query string:

https://mysite.com/mypage/?id=abc

it works.

But if I use this query string (number instead of characters):

https://mysite.com/mypage/?id=1

it fails.

Apparently, it doesn’t like the number parameter of the query string.
