    Hi,

love your easymodal. I’am using for quite sometime now and am very happy with it. Now I wanted to try something new: use a modal to open show a 3d model build with 3Dproductviewer (wordpress plugin).

I don’t have the knowledge if it even can work, but all I know that when I use the shortcode (in this case: [wp_vtpkonfigurator id=”1″]) on a regular post/page it’s working fine but when i put this code in the modal I t just shows this code as text.

So my quess would be it can’t work but Am I right?

    thanks!
    Barry

    Hey Barry,

This is actually a question for that plugins developers. What is likely happening is that they use the wordpress function has_shortcode to detect if you used it in the post content, if not they dont load the neccessary css and JS files needed to make it work.

There is usually a workaround that can be used, similar to gravity forms and contact form 7 to load them all the time basically. That should resolve the issue.

    Hi Daniel,

thanks for your repsonse. Not sure what you mean with the workaround but I’ll try to figure it out. If you have anything more that could get me started would be great and i will also ask dr google.

    cheers Barry

Basically gravity forms and contact form 7 have a function you can call in your theme that loads thes scripts and styles needed. This is usually for users who are including shortcodes outside of the wordpress editor such as in theme files.
