Use of WC Germanized also for non-German countries

    Hi everyone,

    is there a way to use filters or any hooks to disable “Lieferzeiten” when non Germany-based users are accessing the shop?

    If e.g. someone from the US is buying something then the shipping time needs to be either adjusted to the user’s country or not be shown at all.

    Seems like WC Germanized is locking the shop in to one sell-to country only.
    Have you thought of a country-selector to switch the Germanized functions on or off?

    Hi there,

    just because your customer comes from another country this does not generally mean german law is not applicable. You should talk about that with a lawyer. If your company is based in Germany as far as I know you will have to meet german law irrespective of where your customer is located.

    Regarding adjustments: I don’t think that this is easily possible. You may need to find a plugin which adds that functionality to your store. Currently I’m not aware of a plugin capable of doing that.
