Hi, it strikes me that this would work best on pages without a sidebar. I guess I could create a post specific template where I want to use this but it would probably be easier to use it on a page using a no sidebar template rather than a post. Does it work with both pages and posts? I can include normal comments on pages on a case by case basis. Many thanks.

    Hi Paul,

yes, Inline Comments are mainly used on sites with no sidebar.
The plugin is working with both, pages and posts.

You decide on which pages/paragraphs the comments should appear using CSS selectors. If your no sidebar template has a unique CSS selector (like the CSS class “.no-sidebar-format”), you can use it to only display Inline Comments on pages with this “no-sidebar-format”. Those unique CSS classes are often added to the <body> tag of your site.

I’ve added a new to-do on my long list of possible features and improvements: Make it possible to disable Inline Comments for specific articles/pages.

    Best regards,

    Kevin
