Use ‘Order Delivery Date for WC’ or ‘Product Delivery Date for WC Lite’?
-
I’ve come across Tyche Software’s Order Delivery Date for WooCommerce and Product Delivery Date for WooCommerce – Lite free plugins which both appear to be potential candidates, however I cannot find online, any direct comparison between the functionality of the 2 plugins, making evaluation very difficult.
Since in my particular website requirements, there is a need to be able to have a 45-day lead time between the customer’s ‘Shopping Basket’ full of ordered ‘variable’ handmade items and their delivery, we need to be able to present a customer-date-pickable calendar that starts only 45 days on from whatever is the current date, rather than confusing customers when they otherwise have to first scroll through one or two months of unbookable days on many solutions out there. Our application, however, does not want to allow the time of day to be pickable option.
If the calendar allows for the developer displaying a preset number of booked rental days e.g. for displaying a fixed 4 day wedding rental period, (maybe 2 days before the wedding date and one day after it), that is the ideal scenario.
Also, setting the date on the calendar has to be mandatory before allowing the customer to move on to the checkout procedure.
Whilst I’m leaning towards the ‘Order Delivery Date for WooCommerce’ as sounding like the right one, can anyone confirm if either of these 2 named products can achieve my needs please?
