Use placeholder image also as thumbnail on product list

Is it possible to use the placeholder image in product page also as a thumbnail image on the product list?

I’m not sure what you’re asking – this is the default behaviour or woocommerce? The featured image shows in both places.

Using either Woocommerce Customizer or code in functions.php, I am able to assign a custom placeholder image for products without images. However, the same image does not appear on WooCommerce product list. Please see here for an example.
