Use post_tag no page found

Oh man, this plugin was EXACTLY what I have long long been searching for, a widget to display tags under a certain category, but it doesn’t work when you present these choices as a drop down list.

invalid coding gets generated https://www.hotairfrying.com/?tag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hotairfrying.com%2Ftag%2Fmushrooms%2F which causes understandably a 404 error (if you correct the URL manually, it’s actually fine.)

I think I’m reading ( https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/use-post_tag-no-page-found?replies=4 , https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/404-%E2%80%93-page-not-found?replies=12 ) that you’re saying you’re going to solve this issue by simply taking the tag functionality away? Sigh, if so, I guess my search for a plugin that can do this will have to go on…
