Hi The Champ – great plugin. Questions:
    – for blog posts, sometimes we don’t have a picture in the post. In those questioins it picks up an image from our sidebar (an ad). How can I eliminate it doing this in the case where we have no picture in the post?

    – When sharing the home page, or another page, it also picks an image from the sidebar. What we’d like is it to share a picture we pick for that page along with some meta description type stuff for that page.

How can we do these things?

Lastly – extra credit : -). The text it is picking up for the home page is text from the regular home page editor, text we got rid of a long time ago. (this editor box is now blank, as we use a static, widigtized home page. Do you have some sort of cache that needs to be cleared? I tried deleting the plugin and all files/settings, then re-installing. Same text appears (mabye I did something wrong…)

    Thanks The Champ!

    Tom

Hi Raj. For some reason the fix isn’t working. Hopefully a simple thing I’m doing wrong with implementing your recommended fix. Can you please respond to email I sent you? I appreciated your earlier quick response.

    Hi Tom,
I didn’t get any email after you emailed me thanks for the fix I sent.
Let me know your website url so that I can look into the issue.

The issue is the default image you have specified in the code I sent. This image is too small to be included in the sharing.
You can see this warning by entering one of your post url at following link:

    I tried with following url:

And then click “Fetch new scape information”

    It gives following warning:

og:image was not defined, could not be downloaded or was not big enough. Please define a chosen image using the og:image metatag, and use an image that's at least 200x200px and is accessible from Facebook. Image 'https://www.prendivilleway.com/.../06/Higashi-BHS_SPEDad1.jpg' will be used instead.
