    Heloooooooo, Anybody here?

I’m not RankMath support, but yes you can use it just fine without adding focus keywords. Just ignore the SEO score.

I do wish they would add a feature to turn off the scoring for posts without KWs and only score based on other factors.

    Hello @elsoar

Thank you for contacting the support and apologies for delayed response.

Adding a focus keyword has no direct impact on the search rankings/traffic. That is needed only for the plugin to analyze the content.

You can read more about that here:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/score-100-in-tests/

With that said, please stay advised that these are just guidelines and one does not need to follow them religiously.

At the end of the day, the content needs to be written for the readers and not for the search engines.

Scoring higher points in Rank Math’s tests won’t guarantee higher rankings.

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know.

P.S. @csburdick Thank you for chiming in to help. Apprecaite it.
