Use semicolon in export instead of comma

  • Hello,

    I use CF 7 for a small customer survey. However, when commas are used, i cannot export to CSV properly: the spreadsheet i try to create looks a mess because of all the commas. I tried to export to HTML, but as some comments are made up of several paragrahps, i cannot copy the html table into excel without creating unwanted rows either.

    Is there a way to export to csv with a different separator?

    If you are opening with Excel and it does not work try this:

    1. Open a blank spreadsheet, File -> Import then in the dialog indicate comma as the delimiter.

    Or

    2. Try the TSV export format from CFDB
