Use shortcode to inset footnotes at desired location?

Thanks a lot for creating this plugin!

I was wondering if it would be possible to alter the plugin so that you could use a shortcode on individual articles in order to choose where the endnotes appear? On my articles I usually have some content that I want to appear after the endnotes, so it would be nice if I could make it so that they don’t always automatically generate at the end of the article. Could this be done?
