• Good afternoon

I am attempting to use the shortcodes in my bespoke theme files in the sidebar (technically they are just in a div in index.php). I have used both the monthly schedule and confirmation shortcodes but nothing happens when you click on a day or time.

Now I have created an appointments page with the exact same two shortcodes (i.e. I have the calendar and form in the page content *and the sidebar). When this page is opened both are updated and both are functional when clicking on either.

Is it possible to have this working in the sidebar only, so it is accessible from all pages?

    Kind Regards

    Hey there csanders67,

    Hope you’re well today ??

Unfortunately this is not possible our of a box with the current version of the plugin.

Shortcodes will be displayed in the sidebar but the functionality will not. The reason this happens is because scripts are not properly loaded when shortcodes are being added to widget or a template. To achieve something like this it would have to be custom coded.

    Best regards,
    Bojan
