    Hi!

You can display the filter module on your frontpage by using the provided Widget and setting a specific post type in the widget settings.
However it will direct the visitor to the post types archive when they filter. This is inevitable as I do not create a completely custom query based on the filters but rather make use of WordPress builtin feature of filtering an archive by terms.

Im kinda late with the thanks, but after your advice the plugin does great job. Ive created a custom sidebar on the index specialy for the filter and it works great.

But i wonder, since im using the plugin for more than one post type, is it possible to add a dropdown, allowing the user to choose the post type if the plugin is used on the index?

    Hi,

No worries ?? I love reviews if you want to say thanks and help this plugin forward.

There is currently no way of doing that but I think it could be a good idea. I’ll add it to my list of possible features and perhaps it’ll be implemented in some way in the future. However at the moment your best bet is to create a separate widget per post type.

I did leave a review, is it possible to add it on the front page with a shortcode or even better template tag?

At the moment no I’m sorry. I will however look into being able to use the template tag (function) AND supply an optional posttype slug to achieve the same results as if using the widget. It will be on my todo and hopefully come with the next version ??
