Use Ultimate Member field in CF7 Form

I was wondering if you already succeed with this. I have an Ultimate Member field too called [company_name] which I like to use in CF7.

Unfortunately I’m not clear how to work with cf7 custom tags.

Could you explain a bit further what to do/add to my functions.php in order to make it work?

Hey,

if I remember correctly, I did not have to add any additional code to functions.php
I access the fields of an Ultimate Member user like this:

[um_user user_id="123" meta_key="user_companyname"]

user_companyname is the name I gave to the field, you should be able to find it in the UM plugin settings.

in my case the meta_key is “company_name”. Can I assume that you use it as following then?

[text um_user user_id="123" meta_key="company_name"]

Do I need to change anything about the user_id?
