use with href

I’d like to force download within href code. I have an image on my website that, when clicked, downloads the pdf. Here’s my code:
<img class=”alignnone wp-image-1002 size-medium” src=”https://mywebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/image-300×151.png” alt=”” width=”300″ height=”151″ />
Where would I insert the [download] shortcode?
