use with sub-directory installs
-
I’ve tested on 2 different sites, and neither seem to work with sub-directories.
The first is a sub-directory install (https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/giving-wordpress-its-own-directory/) where the site is served from the root URL.
See the linked domain, except it is installed at /wordpress/ and served from /.
In this case, no assets are rewritten at all with the plugin. The second one is a plain sub-directory install, where the Site URL and location both reflect a sub-directory (which is the link I provided). In this case, the sub-directory is removed from the CDN paths by the plugin, resulting in 404s. I set it up this way because that’s what your directions say during zone creation (Include only the scheme and hostname… Do not include a file path…) and ditto in the instructions for this plugin. Also because it seems like that would be the “normal” thing to do.
In the first case, adding a sub-directory to the CDN URL in the plugin settings has no effect, it still refuses to do any rewriting. In the second case, adding a sub-directory in the plugin settings DOES make things work.
Any ideas on how to get the first case working?
