The Plugin Organizer plugin basically makes it so that you can effectively “disable” plugins on pages/posts where they unneeded.

Say you use a podcast plugin and you only have podcasts on your podcast page… There is no need to load the podcast plugin code on any page BUT your podcast page.
And then ditto for other plugins as needed.

How would Hummingbird deal with that?

  • Hi @kendawes,

A good coding practice for plugins and themes is to load css/js files only on pages, where the code is actually needed. Many popular plugins allow you to either specify pages, where the assets should be loaded, or there’s a snippet available that you can add to your function.php file to exclude the files from certain pages. Please, try checking the settings for the podcast plugin.

Unfortunately, at the moment, HB does not give you the option to exclude files from specific pages/posts.

    Best regards,
    Anton
