1) Yes, it works without an e-commerce plugin. There are many application cases and I would highly recommend to have a look at the different integrations documented here: https://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates/setup/settings/integrations/ – Even without any of the integrations, the built-in user registration integration is also suitable to cover a lot of cases: https://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates/user-registration/
