Use Woocommerce Database into Private Server

    Hi all,
    I have seen this type of question already in this forum but they don’t exactly answer to my question.

    I have a website running on wordpress with a MySQL database on a specific server host provided by the domain provider. I would like to have the wordpress database running on that specific server host but having the woocommerce database runnning on a private server.
    Is that any possible and if yes how should I set up the project?
    If that ins’t possible, how shall I set up the website’s database directely on a private server, considering that I use softaculus wordpress intaller to set up a website?

    Good question!

    I did a quick search and found no trace of anyone doing this before. The WordPress software uses the database to create pages dynamically so having the database in a dedicated server will create some serious delays that’s if it’s possible in the first place.

    Since WordPress is open source, nothing is stopping you from forking it and doing whatever you want.

    I will recommend you try working with a WooExpert or make a post about it in WordPress Development Stack Exchange.
