• This plugin has always been an ‘install and use once’ tool, however the recent 2.0 update has made that even more apparent, especially since it appears it has changed owners.

I do owe the new author some thanks though: The new update has reminded me to set WordPress’s built-in Discussion settings to disable comments and close comments on old posts, and to delete this plugin from all my sites.

    Hi @lukework ,

I’m really sorry to hear that you are disappointed with this v2.0 update where we tried to improve the overall experience and features.
Yes, The built-in WordPress Discussion settings is helpful and we enable you to do more with Disable Comments. You can simply Disable all comments with 1-Click in your entire website. And you can delete all your unwanted comments from the Database permanently with 1-click.

Besides that, We have introduced some new features like:
WP-CLI support for configuring settings page with WP-CLI command.
-Block comments that comes from XML-RPC and REST-API.

Most of these features are requested by lots of users.

So, I would really appreciate if you reconsider the rating.
Thanks for your feedback and your co-operation is highly appreciated.
    Have a nice day!
