use_desc_for_title=1 get it to show descriptions for childeren

    Hi all ive spent all afternoon trying to get this to work.

    Im using wp_list_categories('orderby=id&show_count=1&title_li=&child_of=17' as i only want to list out categories within a categories (ie Children) but I do want it to show the descriptions of the categories i know the codex says it doesnt show descriptions for children but I thought there might be a hack to display the description of a child categories?

    Any help much appreciated
