I tried to use Popup Maker to provide a google map for the campus location using the embed code provided by google maps. The popup doesn’t work. The google code uses ifrmame. If I code it directly on the page it works fine.

    Here’s the frame code below.

    <iframe src="https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d1827.0373412339118!2d-73.09148977449581!3d41.328151332865765!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x89e7e07e81b57541%3A0x12cb8d6d202a1b13!2sSmith+St+%26+9th+St%2C+Derby%2C+CT+06418!5e1!3m2!1sen!2sus!4v1418229839024" width="600" height="450" frameborder="0" style="border:0"></iframe>

PS the disabling the plugin method of testing does in fact work, but so would disabling the theme. Then the plugin would work fine, so that is obviously not a resolution, and imho a terrible way to leave you hanging.

I am having very similar issues with the developers of Rev Slider and LayerSlider on codecanyon. They are currently unwilling to make any changes to their plugins even though I offered to not only make the changes for them, but also pointed out many reasons why they are doing it improperly ( according to wp docs ). I even explained that I have no less than 5 paying customers who have the same issue. They keep deferring and telling me to update to the latest version. Which does fix the immediate bug, but not the underlying problems unfortunately.

What can you do though. Will just take enough people complaining apparently to get movement. Course he has enough to deal with now. I just saw the 100k sites infected due to bug in rev slider.

Here is an article better describing how the in_footer parameter is used.

    https://blog.cloudfour.com/getting-all-javascript-into-the-footer-in-wordpress-not-so-fast-buster/

He goes into detail about things like enqueuing in footer and script still loading in header due to another plugin calling it there.

    Daniel,
i appreciate all your efforts. I will pass the info along on the version to the theme developer. Right now the tech stuff is over my head (abilities). Unfortunately the entire site is built around the theme and literally hundreds of hours of development have gone into it. The gentleman does not unreasonable up to this point.

I can give you access to the wp-admin if you will send me an email. I don’t want that information available publicly.

    Thanks again.

Hey Pastor Walt – No problem, I wasn’t trying to insenuate he was inattentive, but I tend to over support( or fix issues that aren’t neccessarily ours ).

Got credentials will take a look shortly and see what i can work out. I will likely install an additional plugin called Advanced Code Editor which allows me to edit the plugin live on the site and use a folder/file browser to easily open the correct files I need to modify.

Hey Pastor Walt – sent you an email on the matter. I have fixed the issue but your iframe test is missing. Let me know when you test it.
