    Can this plugin be used only to show football results and not to predict matches?

    Yes, I think with some minor tweaks it can be used to only show match results. You’ll have to remove the link to the predictions page from the match table (change the template with PHP or remove via jQuery). And maybe hide some parts with CSS.
