Used Softaculous to install WP through cPanel… not working

Hi All,

Been trying to figure this out for a few days now. I recently installed WP through Softaculous in cPanel. I’m doing this for a client. They have an existing host with their current site running. We now have a new host and I want to build the WP site and finish it there before pointing the nameservers from the old to new host.

I can’t log into the WP admin page. My only thought is that because Softaculous uses the domain name (which is still on the old host) to install the database, it won’t work. I thought I could install WP on the new host and just log in through the IP, for example:
https://69.65.10.202/~oldp1865/wp-admin
That is the actual IP. What other information can I give to be more helpful about this situation? Thanks so much in advance.
