Upadted Review – Working Like A Charm

I have problems with the last update too. I get this message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/ . . ./wp-content/plugins/download-manager/download-manager.php on line 11

@rajiv63, Trust me, we love every user as well as our plugin ?? and we’re always trying to add some new features and improvements in every new update. @agruiz, in latest update we upgraded code base and used namespace, seems like you need to upgrade php version. However you still can get back to previous version from here https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/download-manager.2.8.3.zip

@shaon Wow.. that was a quick revert, and much appreciated. I have checked the images that you provided the links for and unfortunately I am not able to locate those options anywhere. Where should I be looking for them ?

Normally I use the Add File Option to upload files into different categories and on the page I use the category shortcode to display the files. However, I cannot see those settings anywhere on the Add File page or even in the Download Manager settings. It is quite possible that I am not looking in the right place, so kindly let me know where to locate the settings.

In that case probably you are using old version of tinymce add-on or you still didn’t install it yet, please download it from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/advanced-tinymce-button/ and install. More free add-ons https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/downloads/free-add-ons/ .

@shaon – As advised, downloaded and installed the TinyMce Addon, and it is working fine. However, please correct me if I am wrong, this is useful if I wish to upload a file in a particular page or post. I am still foxed as to how this will help me to remove the download count from already uploaded files. I tried editing an already uploaded file and when I tried to load the page it gave me an internal server 500 error. Sorry to bother you, but still not able to figure out how to sort out the issue.

When You Inserting Short-code:
— If you want to hide download count, you need select “Default Template”
— To show download count select any of “Call to Action 3”, “Default Template (Extended)” or “Default Template with Download Count”
— If you want to show only download link select “Only Link/Button”

Now if you want to replace download link with stylish image use this add-on https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-image-button/
