• This was a great plugin when it did what it was initially intended for: to insert snippets of code in header and footer.
Now they decided to also allow you to add code snippets in the same plugin which is a risk factor and really error prone if the user doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Hey Mircea, you can easily switch to the Simple Mode option under Settings to disable all the powerful code snippet features and revert back to the Header and Footer mode.

We added that option to ensure that the plugin can serve all use-cases ??

Hey Syed, I fully understand, but the user is capable of re-activating the feature if he wants to and then lots of issues can arise from there.

In my opinion the plugin could have stayed as if was, and you could have created a sepparate plugin for code snippets, and whoever wanted to also use code snippets could have installed that plugin.

There’s a huge difference between script tags inserted in header or footer and php code hooked into the WordPress core, it’s not at all the same thing so I don’t see why these two use-cases would be combined together.
