Used to be good, but now crashes

    This used to be a good and reliable plugin – but not anymore. Just like the official PayPal plugin this Stripe plugin is now causing issues. Since beginning of May, latest updates are causing numerous errors and crashing our site. Had to use recovery mode and deactivated plugin to get site back.

    After testing and disabling plugins and themes, turned out it was Stripe’s latest updates. We will look at another Stripe plugin, and stop using any official WooCommerce plugins (paid or free) at this point.

    Hi @dividendninja, I am sorry to hear that your site crashed after updating it in May. When updates break a site, most times it is due to a conflict with another plugin.

    However, we noticed an error in that release and fixed it in the new version 8.3.1 which has now been released. You can update the Stripe plugin to see if that fixes your issue. If the issue persists, feel free to open a ticket with us so we can look into this further for you.
