It has not been striped down. No feature have been removed. There one ad for the pro version.

Well, I have an older version on another site and there I have more options. I can control the background rather than having a screenshot of the site, which is under construction. I am looking at the two versions right now and the older version simply has more options and features. It is clear that some things were stripped out for the free/pro split.
