Useful, but beware database row count, esp on multisite networks
-
This plugin gives useful information, but it creates a database row for every referrer, so it will become a real headache if you ever have to search/replace mysql data. A blog with decent traffic will have hundreds of thousands of rows in wp_simple_feed_stats, and a multisite network will have many millions of rows… bloat, chug.
I’m currently trying to migrate a production multisite network to a test host, and the normal method of replacing site/host via interconnect/it search replace db is having problems, even in PHP CLI mode. Probably I will have to skip those tables or delete the plugin.
