Useful feature ready, but not implemented by the developers

Hello guys.
Some months ago, I sent you a complete code to implement a useful feature: place the “Custom Rules” before all plugin rules or after all plugin rules, via a simple checkbox. See:

But apparently you did not give much attention to it. Perhaps because I checked the option “This topic is not a support question”, or because you felt this feature useless.
In my particular case, there are some rules (for instance, redirect the access to HTTPS) which I would prefer coming first in .htaccess. This is impossible with the current limitations of Custom Rules.
By the way: I also found the text field very tight, so I changed it in the code to 80 columns.

My apologies – I think your very useful request made 6 months ago slipped through somehow.
I will look into this again and see if I can add it in time for the next release.
