Useful functions suggestion

  • Greetings,

    I would like to propose two functions that are certainly very useful for plugin users.

    – Add compatibility with the qTranslate-XT ( https://github.com/qtranslate/qtranslate-xt ) plugin for multilingual text for those who use more than one language on their site;

    – Add REST API to implement / expand functionality within Mobile Apps (Android, iOS, UWP) linked to websites with WP-2FA plugin.

    We are interesting to have the ability to setup a user’s 2FA settings through our App. We allow the users to manage their profile in App, so we will be happy to provide to our users this feature as well. Specifically, I’m talking about enabling/disabling the 2FA security settings and getting the qrcode that the user can scan for the registration of the Authentication App.

    On qTranslate-XT, the page that asks you for the token would be nice to have it translated into the language (as well as the configuration on the WP side).

    last time you mentioned that you added in your feature request list the above two features (qTranslate-XT compatibility and REST API). Is there any news?

    Regarding the REST API I have a further addition proposal. Since our App (link above) uses WP REST APIs for authentication, in order to integrate WP 2FA a specific API is required to send the OTP to be verified for access. Since the Plugin doesn’t currently expose it, you can’t authenticate this way.

    Indeed, they are listed in our feature list, however, we cannot confirm when they will be implemented.

    Thank you for repeating the questions @sviluppomania. I missed it.

    We’ll see what we can do when we start working on this feature. However, as highlighted earlier we cannot guarantee this feature will be developed and when, sorry.

    I am sorry that I cannot give you a more concrete answer.
