I used to install free feature Post Status of PublishPress Planner, customized and started to use it for editorial process of a multi-author site. After a while the feature is disabled in PublishPress Planner and forwarded to install this plugin. All customization and editorial organization of my project has gone waste. Because status control functions requires Pro version on the post edit screen.

There were four more custom status options in publish box before installation. Can I get them here again?

I added the “option” html tag of a custom status inside the select box (via F12) and submitted the form. It worked, saved the option. So, I think the problem is the html output.

@kevinb, I missed one of your replies:

Can you tell me if the missing custom statues are ones that you added to Planner, or just the Turkish translations of built-in Planner statuses (Pitch, Assigned, In Progress) ?

I tried all custom statuses came with installation. That didin’t work either, listed in the quick edit box, not listed in the publish box.

    Hello again @gokcer,

Thanks for your cooperation and patience with the PublishPress Statuses troubleshooting. We just released an update (version 1.0.3.4) which should correct Classic Editor integration for most sites.

Please let us know if you still see any issues after updating.

Hello @kevinb, thanks for your support. It seems the “select” problem has been solved.

A few possible problems on which I must make more tests to submit a new ticket:

    • I couldn’t get Loco translations of 2 default WP statuses and some other button labels work with the plugin.
    • If classic editor is selected in the plugin’s settings, the label of WP’s default “Update” button is empty; if auto detection is selected the update button is ok, but the old permissions “go for pro” warning is shown (actually this is not a problem.)

@gokcer With today’s Statuses 1.0.4 release, Classic Editor and Loco Translate are both looking good.

@gokcer Statuses 1.0.4.1 brings further Classic Editor corrections, along with better defaulting of status assignment capabilities (Statuses > Status Edit > Roles tab) and better handling of the Pending Review status.

@gokcer FYI, PublishPress Statuses 1.0.5 fixes one issue with Save As buttons:

    • Some Publish and Save As button labels were not translated if saved (in Statuses > Edit Status) with default values

It also improves the import of Planner status properties and adds Backup / Restore / Set Defaults operations for colors, icons, labels and enabled post types.
