• The plugin doesn’t work with ver. 3.6
The catalog page renders fine, but I use WordPress so I don’t have to edit code to make the internal catalog pages work. They don’t work. I get a 404 page error. So, to me it is useless!Especially if I’m going to turn it over to the client to do the work.

There. So I reset the permalinks and nothing. Everybody feels it’s a great plugin. My idea of a great plugin is one that doesn’t require me to do any coding. So take my review as one that is out of sych with all the rest, but one, who keeps hearing the words, “No Coding Necessary!”

If I wanted to code, I’d be writing xhtml, but the intention is to tyrn a working product over to a client quickly and easily and know THEY can handle the work.

Hi jtstarke. It is pretty harsh to give a 1 star review instead of asking for support. I would be happy to help you with this problem.

I’ve seen this 404 page error problem before and it has been fixed very quickly and easily each time by simply re-saving your permalink structure via Settings > Permalinks. Can you give that a try and let me know if you need further assistance and we can work through some troubleshooting steps.

I would be grateful if you could re-consider your poor rating of this plugin – I care about my plugins and I put a lot of time into supporting my work. It is very disheartening to receive such a poor review without having had the opportunity to provide support. Thanks.

I agree with the author. A simple support request would have quickly resolved your issue, which mostly likely due to the permalinks not being updated.

Your 1 start review creates a very negative appearance for a FREE plugin which I’m sure the author has spent a ton of time on, and for an issue that is mostly likely not due to an issue with the plugin.

permalinks was updated. I guess it’s too much to expect that it would work right out of the box, so to speak. So, ok, it works great, but not for me.
