• Useless. The main goal of this plugin is to sell the pro version.
It displays snippet details at the bottom of the page, instead of using the standard json format.

    Hello @webily,

    Sorry if you felt that!

I am Elvina from team Brainstorm Force and I’d like to clear your doubts with this regard.

Just to let you know, the plugin Schema – All In One Schema Rich Snippets was built and released way back in 2012. It was then that schema markups started trending and people wanted a quick solution to get it done on their websites. Schema markup could be added using Microdata technology back then and Google guidelines were different.

This was the free version that we released.

Later in 2016, we thought of building something easier and faster that could serve the purpose easily and also follow Google guidelines and the latest JSON-LD technology.

Since this was something that we can had to work on from scratch and a completely different technology, Schema Pro could not be a part of the free Schema plugin that you see here.

The reason this plugin is here is because it is still a reliable plugin that many people trust and use on their websites. It is a stable plugin and we still release updates whenever there is a major WordPress release, etc.

The plugin uses Microdata functionality that itself displays the code in the frontend.

Schema Pro is the recent version that uses JSON-LD that does not show up anything on the front end of the website.

We’ve never forced users to make a purchase. It’s everyone’s individual choice depending on the based on their actual requirements.

    I hope this clarifies.

Please feel free to get in touch with us if you need help with anything.
