• I paid for premium to make sure my webshop is compliant. But after last update it does not work, it looks terrible, and I have lost customers, because of the unprofessional appearance. It looks terribel, and nobody understands the options.
    I have tried to contact you, but I dont get any answer.
    The plugin is now deactivated and I want my money back!!!

    Our decision to automatically upgrade our premium subscribers to a more proactive consent framework was not taken lightly. An email was sent to all subscribers informing them of the update, along with instructions on how to adjust the configuration in order to align the previous design with the new framework.

    We are aware our new design impacts your website’s UX, and will be releasing a patch within the next week to improve the sizing and responsiveness across all sites so that the display takes up less of the viewport. However, with enforcement of compliance violations increasing with each new law / guideline, we believe it is more important for us as a trusted consent vendor to do everything in our power to help you stay ahead of these laws and remove the risk to your business.

    For instance, in Italy, the July 10th guidance dictates that the site visitor landing on your site for the first time “immediately views an area or banner whose dimensions are, at the same time, [1] sufficient to constitute a perceptible discontinuity in the use of the contents of the web page he is visiting…” (achieved by the sizing of the banner being greater than 10% of the page), “…but also [2] such as to avoid the risk that the user may resort to commands and therefore make unwanted or unaware choices.” (achieved by the unique 3-choice display + duration selection experience).

    Our goal is to go above and beyond the latest enforcement guidelines, which are becoming more defined and more similar across different jurisdictions every day. We are tracking how some of these strict requirements in the EU will soon be reflected in new laws throughout Asia, South America, and North America, and we are committed to helping businesses stay ahead of the dozens of new requirements that will make it more and more difficult to determine “what is compliant” in the near future.

    We understand if this does not work for your business, and hope that you understand our intentions.
