• This app does not work its pointless. I wasted 3 days adding in translations and went back to the site an everything is gone back to English and the entire site is a mess.

    Do not use this app unless you want to waste your time re-adding the same content over and over again.

    May be you can provide more details like using the free or paid version, so we can help you? It is very strange that you “add translations”, because we do not have such option in our free version. You just add the plugin on top of your website and we translate your content without any input from you.

    Yes spent hours on the chat over 3 days who kept telling me to press ctrl + f5 telling me it’s a cache issue to them go back the site and find all my translations gone for the 3rd time.

    I was able to identify your account with us from your profile page link to your website.

    I have also checked your account settings and conversations with our team members over the live chat. I’m sorry we were not able to provide a solution instantly and asked to wait while we investigate.

    I can see that you are using GTranslate 3 months now, and that you have turned off the automatic translations we are offering and manually translated your content.

    I believe that your translations disappeared simply because the original website content has changed and automatic translations were off, so nothing was translated. So I want to ask you some questions which will help me to identify the cause of the issue you have experienced:

    1. Have you changed any text on the original version?
    2. Have you used the block edit (pencil with square to edit HTML blocks) while translating?
    3. Have you added/removed any optimization/cache plugin on your website recently, or changed your theme?
    4. Were you checking your website while you were logged in into wp-admin section or you were browsing as a visitor?

    This questions are important to understand what has really happened on your website.

    @spikeyman00 been facing same issue and that is really annoying, although the live chat are great but it keeps happening every time i customize my website or even if i use other plugin, and eventually i have to wait 24 hrs as they assume its caching issue.

    and for @edo888 this is crazy because its really waste of time when i hoped this can be fixed easily, and the translation can make it simple, very disappointed how this plugin is working now,

    @abdat57 using caching while still under development is usually a bad practice.
