I just discovered this new feature in the post-section. This is a count for internal links in a post. I am just wondering, why is this important or useful to know? For me this is a useless column. Is it possible to remove it?

I would rather want a festure in the post-section that enables me to stick certain posts at the top without using any filter or plugin.

Even better, the new column should be used for something useful like statistics. I know there is a plugin for statistics, but that kinda feature should be in the core of WordPress.

To me it seems that the WordPress-design is going downhill. This started with the Gutenberg-blocks. The blocks are a feature that is meant to make WordPress flexible yet simple but in my experience it works just the opposite. An example of this is the YouTube-block. This block has less functions then HTML-codes. Actually the HTML-block saves the day for me.

That’s not a feature of core. It’s probably from an SEO-related plugin.

Thanks Steven, it was Yoast SEO, what a releaf.
I still think the post-section could be more flexible in the core. I am surprised how rigit it is after all these years.
