Useless. Sitemap never got fetched

  • I couldn’t get google search console to fetch the sitemap generated by this plugin. I tried many things and resubmitted multiple times. The sitemap was visible and reachable but was never fetched by google (couldn’t read). In the end I ended up removing the plugin and using the one generated by WordPress, and it was fetched almost immediately by google. Save yourself the hassle and use the built-in Sitemap.

    Funny how lots of reviews are by the author… Scam or what?!

    Hi

    I think you should check your hosting firewall settings or if you use cloudflare check it there.
    I just installed this plugin first time. After removing my XML map from google search console
    Added the XML after making with this plugin… Got fetched within 10 min.

    I checked the sitemap inside Google Search Console and it matches the settings from the plugin.

    Still have to see how the outcome will be in few weeks, So far it seems to be good.

    @jevallejo Unfortunately, the default sitemap doesn’t provide all you need for SEO; that’s why so many other plugins offer sitemap functionality. Please reach out so we can take care of you.
