User account modification: can not update upper/lowercases for email address

Hi,

With admin privileges, create a new user with a Frontend Admin form (Account = New account), using email address [email protected] (please note uppercases).

With another Frontend Admin form (Account = Modify account, Account to be modified = URL request, URL request key = user_id), try to update the email adress with [email protected] (please note all lowercases, so this is the same email address).

>> Gives the message “The email [email protected] is already assigned to an existing account…“

So impossible to update upper/lowercases for the email address of an existing account in frontend.
