User approvals by non-admin roles?

Closest I can think of is filtering the minimum capability needed to see our menu item. After that, I don’t think we use any functionality that requires capabilities checks.

We have this filter available: https://github.com/WebDevStudios/BuddyPress-Registration-Options/blob/master/includes/admin.php#L383-L401

If in multisite, we require the “create_users” capability, otherwise “delete_users”

If you wanted an editor level person to be able to help manage, but no one at a lower role, then perhaps filter in “moderate_comments” or some similar one found at https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/#capability-vs-role-table

capability to one of my user roles. Unfortunately, they still can’t see the menu of your plugin ??

Any more help you could think of? Much appreciated

Can you supply the code you’re using to try and change this minimum role? Curious if it’s maybe not set up just quite right.

is in this file
wp-content/plugins/bp-registration-options/includes/admin.php

This wouldn’t be something you edit in our plugin, you’d make use of the filter provided that I highlighted. Perhaps something like:

add_filter( 'bp_registration_filter_minimum_caps', function( $original_capability ) {
    return 'edit_users';
} );
