User assigned taxonomy TERMS

    I’m trying to achieve the following:

    Taxonomy: Books (hierarchical)
    New Post Type: Chapter

    So, the user (author) can create a new TERM (title of his book) under the BOOKS taxonomy and write each chapter as the new post type CHAPTER.

    As a result, the TERMS (each authors book) should be readable by everybody, but only the author can post on that TERM.

    EXAMPLE: A new user creates a new book called “The joy of living alone” (Term under Taxonomy Books). Then the user writes all the chapters in the CHAPTERS post type. He want everybody to read that book, but he doesn’t want anybody to make changes to it.

    I can’t find a way to restrict users to add posts on TERMS created by other users.

    This is just an example. I would like to apply this system to other topics.
