User Authentication according to google contacs or sheet

    I can’t find out the solution how to simple manage members in our falconry club and connect it with WordPress page. The member’s keeper is not IT guy and we don’t have money for a corporate solution.

    My idea is to have google sheet with names and emails and if someone wants to sign in to WordPress then it checks it in google sheet file or google contacts.

    An advantage is, when someone left our club, then we delete him from sheet file and this former member can’t sign in to the WordPress page.

    And the better version is: when we add someone to the sheet (or e.g. google contacts) it makes a new user in WordPress page and informs the user about creating a new password.

    Is there something that works like that?

  • This feature is not available by default and you might need someone to develop a plugin.

    BTW: WordPress itself it pretty simple to use – even for a non IT guy
