    Hi,

I am using v2.x because the new version is useless and frankly, overblown for this purpose (this is an avatar manager and display plugin). Why couldn’t you just add the bloated ProfilePress as it’s own plugin and let this one be?

    Anyway.

I have Easy Watermark installed in order to auto-watermark specific image sizes. It works great, basically.

The medium image size is set to NOT have watermarks applied.

But, wp-user-avatar somehow registers and uploads it’s uploads so that they become watermarked, although wp NEVER watermarks an image of the size that your plugin generates (in this case, 96x96px).

Also, the original, uploaded image is somehow removed and replaced with the 96×96 image. This is not how to handle images in WordPress. The plugin should generate the medium and thumbnail images and leave the original alone (or delete it BY SETTINGS). It shouldn’t take the uploaded image and resize it internally, which I suppose is what has happened.
